(1888PressRelease) September 04, 2019 - “Passitaly in the world” organized a new edition of “Passitaly” event, in collaboration with the local municipal administration and the “Heroic Pantelleria” winemakers. Their goal is to enhance the Passito wine production.

Passitaly is going to be an event involving all the typical island products, especially the UNESCO heritage: “vite ad alberello” (tree grapevine). The beauty of landscape will bond to food and wine, as Passitaly wants to merge culture, tourism, identity, food and wine of Pantelleria island to look at a larger Mediterranean Sea identity.

The Pantelleria wine taste has gained a favourable position in the world wine ranking, and Pantelleria wants to converse with the sweet wine world as Malvasie of Eolie Island, Amarone of Valpolicella, etc.

The event program is Plastic Free, and will last seven days, from 21st to 28th September 2019. It will include wine tours, excursions in cellars, musical and cultural events, tasting of typical dishes collaborating with Slow Food association.
At the end of the event, the best Passito wine will be awarded.

Passitaly will be completed by pop music concerts where three famous Italian singers, Irene Grandi, Max Gazzè and Carmen Consoli, will be the main actors.

Passitaly still promises to be a way to combine flavours, nature, music and culture in one of the most beautiful lands in the Mediterranean Sea.
