"There was this one summer, I think it was 2008 in Texas when it was over a hundred degrees every day for ninety days straight. Even at midnight, it was still a hundred degrees. It was so hot, I couldn't even get out on my boat, so I decided I was sick and tired of living in a place that was hot in the summertime and cold in the wintertime, and, of course, I had really big electric bills to go along with all of that, and I was fed up with that also", Jackie narrates.
She goes on to say that she did a lot of research and discovered that Panama has all the qualities of what she was looking for. According to Jackie, she decided to move to Panama because of the great weather, low cost of living and booming economy among other things. Presently, Jackie lives in Boquete Panama, a mountain town known for its picturesque landscape and cool, spring-like weather all year.
