Long-term outlook for precious metals is definitely bullish.
(1888PressRelease) November 14, 2011 - MIAMI, FL - Precious metals bullion still provides a sound investment as platinum and palladium continue to rally. Gold has taken a slight slide as investors still look to the dollar as a safe haven and silver is sliding a little also. However, both metals look to gain in the longer term.
The ongoing European crisis is engendering distrust in paper currencies, even more so as news breaks that German Chancellor Angela Merkel's CDU party has voted to allow countries an exit strategy from the euro. Countries would be allowed to exit the euro but remain in the European Union. This represents a complete U-turn on the supposedly 'irrevocable' nature of joining the common currency and must further increase investors' concerns about the currency.
As the crisis in Europe continues to drag on and debt issues seem to spread from country to country, gold will provide the necessary safe haven as it always has. Silver should also gain as its role as 'poor man's gold' allows it to benefit from investment demand as well as industrial demand.
Improved car sales and concerns over future supplies are serving to benefit platinum and palladium, both of which have been showing significant gains recently. Platinum, 30 times rarer than gold, normally trades significantly higher and its current lower price seems to be an anomaly.
"Platinum and palladium are staging a recovery," says Bill Hionas of Pan American Metals of Miami. "There is strong demand from Asia as the automotive industry is booming while supplies of both metals are threatened over the next few years."
Pan American Metals of Miami, located in Miami Beach, offers investors opportunities to purchase precious metals bullion. Both fully funded and leveraged positions are available.
