Palm Holdings announces acquisition of restaurant, marina in downtown Naples
Developer purchases land adjacent to Holiday Inn Express® & Suites.
- Naples-Marco Island, FL (1888PressRelease) July 18, 2019 - A new hotel and restaurant could soon be coming to a long closed space in downtown Naples.
Palm Holdings, an international hospitality developer, announced today that it acquired the former EB’s Steakhouse and the marina directly adjacent to the Holiday Inn Express® & Suites—Naples Downtown 5th Avenue, which it owns.
The acquisition, General Manager Priscilla Dias said, opens exciting possibilities.
“Guests ask us about the marina and nearby dining options every day,” she said. “We’re thrilled to acquire this waterfront property and excited about the chance to further enhance our guests’ experience while they enjoy Naples.”
Palm Holdings is currently exploring all options for development of the property, including the chance to build a 150-room hotel and a full-service restaurant. A brand for the hotel is yet to be finalized.
The restaurant on the property closed about nine years ago, Dias said. Palm Holdings purchased and opened the renovated Holiday Inn Express® & Suites—Naples Downtown 5th Avenue in 2013.
The award-winning hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Naples, walking distance from entertainment, shopping, the business district and the Naples Pier.
The timeline is not yet set for development as Palm Holdings examines its options. The land parcel is approximately five acres, including water access with the marina.
