PACC911 teams with Highlands to Host Pet Adopt-A-Thon
Highlands in Scottsdale will host more than 30 local animal rescue groups with hundreds of adoptable pets.
- Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) March 09, 2011 - The Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911) has teamed with Highlands Church to host the PACC911 and Highlands Pet Adopt-A-Thon scheduled for Saturday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Highlands Church located at 9050 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd. in Scottsdale.
More than 30 animal rescue groups will be on site with hundreds of family-friendly dogs, cats and critters for adoption. Low-cost micro-chipping will also be available on site. Choice Pet Market will sponsor the event and goody bags will go home with anyone who adopts a pet. Animal lovers can also purchase items from the PACC911 gift shop and enter to win several raffle items, with all proceeds benefiting the Emergency Medical Fund (EMF), which provides financial aid to Valley nonprofit animal welfare groups needing assistance with medical costs. There will also be a grill with various lunch options available. Additionally, guests who bring an unopened bag of food can enter to win several raffle items.
