- (1888PressRelease) April 29, 2014 - Owen joined Pfizer with the merger of Pfizer and Wyeth. Owen joined Wyeth in 1995, and was responsible for providing regulatory strategy advice for many of Wyeth's biological products.
Prior to Wyeth, Owen served as a review team leader at the United States Food and Drug Administration, where he helped develop and shape US regulatory policy towards food biotechnology.
Owen has a BS in Biochemistry and a minor in mathematics from Wichita State University and received his Ph.D. from the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley in 1991.
