Over 750 under-graduate and post-graduate students of CMR Institute of Management Studies celebrates their Graduation Day

- (1888PressRelease) April 13, 2013 - Bengaluru: The CMR Institute of Management Studies conducted its 15th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday 6 April 2013 for both the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses at the college campus over the weekend. Over 750 students graduated from the esteemed institution as their parents watched their children in admiration for reaching the finishing line of a long marathon. Shri E.S. Chakravarthy, Centre Head, TCS, Bangalore was the Chief Guest and he delivered the Graduation Day address on "The importance of possessing intellectual, cultural and articulation currencies."
The solemn occasion began with an invocation and a prayer for the outgoing students. After the Principal, Prof Suja Bennet welcomed the over 2000 strong audience of graduates, parents and invitees, the students spoke on their heartwarming experiences at CMR with nostalgia and over-whelming emotions. The Chief Guest, Dr. Sabitha Ramamurthy, President, CMR Jnanadhara Trust then addressed the students saying, "Intellectual, cultural and articulation currencies will enable all of you to soar to great heights and achieve greater heights. Do not get pulled down by negative forces, but instead focus on your goals and uphold the values and ideals instilled by your parents and the institution. Do not miss any opportunity but seize it by the neck and determine your destiny."
The passing out students of CMR Institute of Management Studies, clad in proud robes and graduation hats walked onto the stage and were felicitated by the Chief Guest. The family and well-wishers applauded and prayed for their bright future. The students beamed with self-fulfillment, parents realized that their assistance-both financial and emotional-was worthwhile, and the faculty had the satisfaction of bringing another group of graduating students through the system. This evening was an epitome for unrestrained optimism.
The vote of thanks was rendered by Prof.Balachander, Director, Management Program who reiterated the words of the chief guest and wished the graduates the very best for their future endeavours.
