- (1888PressRelease) February 27, 2018 - More than 200 enthusiasts took part at the St. Louis Winter Tequila Festival organized by Social Scene at Molly’s Soulard on February 17. Several tequila brands such as Exotico Tequila and El Jimador signed up to showcase their blends and educate guests about the flavors.
The tequila tasting event in St. Louis featured a two-hour drinking experience, with food and drink specials, giveaways, and the opportunity for guests to vote for the top brands. Portion of proceeds benefited local charities.
The intimate setting gathered top tequila brands in the region such as Herradura Tequila, Olmeca Altos, Milagro Tequila, El Mayor, Cabo Wabo, and Espolon. Companies such as PRP Wine International and Bastard Brothers Brewing also participated.
Connecting a great audience
The 2018 St. Louis Winter Tequila Festival turned out to be a great event with a lot of smooth tequilas. The Cabo Wabo brand became the most popular during the evening, especially when it came to their Anejo.
Social Scene co-founder William Holdeman recognized some challenges within the last minute, but overall, he said the company came together to turn the event into a success.
“The feedback has been very encouraging for future events connecting a great audience, venue and their drink of choice, in this case, tequila,” he added.
The ambience were distinct in each of the cities, such as in St. Louis. As a location known for its own personality within its nightlife, the participants enjoyed the food and the drinks as they chatted throughout the late afternoon.
“We got high-fives for the fun time, can't wait for the next one and a feeling of success all around,” Social Scene event manager Tamika Carlton stated.
Sophisticated brands
Furthermore, one attendee noted how different the flavors and how wide-ranging their options were throughout the entire event.
“Everyone liked being able to taste the different options and flavors… and hoped to be doing another replicated event soon,” they said. “There was not one guest that went away unhappy with how the evenings tasting went.”
This winter tequila festival is only one of many gatherings that Social Scene has been known for. The company takes pride in hosting a distinctive set of bar crawls, whether it is about limousine or trolley crawls. They also organize yacht parties for holidays like New Year and Halloween.
Social Scene focuses to bring together a great crowd and energy partnering with venues, and giving them as much exposure on-premise and online, as well as for the brands who they constantly share through a variety of social channels.
It is about creating brand awareness for its partnering venues and brands, while building relationships and memories for the attendees that come out and the venues and brands they engage with.
