West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL (1888PressRelease) August 28, 2012 - Past dinner participants include, Palm Beach Veterans, The United States Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force and Orphans of War. The American Military Organization is a recipient of the Bronze Medal of Honor from the United States Marine Corps for National Service; and the Distinguished Gold Medal of Honor; and the National Service Medal of Honor and certificates of Honor from the United States Air Force, Navy and Army. Each year a dinner is hosted to honor veterans and their supportive families. Tickets and support for the dinner start at $40 and extend to $5000. Dr. J. Robert Gordon of American Military Organization says, "We are glad to host the premier dinner in Palm Beach County, Florida thru American Military Organization. It is very fitting that this dinner is a 'First Class Event' for the service members that put America First."

The American Military Organization (AMO) is a 501 (c)-3 tax exempt charity. Since 2003 it has sponsored various veterans support groups including the Palm Beach Veteran's Day Luncheon honoring the veterans of initially Palm Beach County, Florida. Recently it has expanded to include Broward and Martin Counties as well. The United States Marine Corps, Army, Navy and Air Force have participated, many coming in wheel chairs and prosthetic limbs. The Veteran of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards, have been dutifully honored each year at this affair, usually hosted by a Senator or Congressman.
