Orlando Business Journal Names Jovanna Nelson a 2015 Business Owner of the Year
Good2Go Event Management owner honored as a Woman Who Means Business.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2015 - Orlando's leading business publication, the Orlando Business Journal has selected Good2Go Event Management cofounder Jovanna Nelson as one of its 2015 Business Owners of the Year.
Nelson was selected among dozens of nominees from across Central Florida for the honor. She founded Good2Go Event Management with Karin Zielinski. The pair expanded the event firm's territory to Jacksonville and Tampa and increased their client list aggressively in the past year.
Examples of the new work include: being named the event company for the Astronaut Hall of Fame induction ceremony; a renewed contract with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Chapter; being named the event team for the Access to Capital Summit in Tampa and continued strong business from the different sectors of the U.S. government.
A lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, Nelson won praise from the nominating committee for her balance of business acumen with community service and personal accomplishments in the past year. The Business Owner of the Year Award is the second major award Nelson has received from OBJ. In 2014 she was named a Veteran of Influence.

OBJ honored Nelson at an award ceremony at Rosen Shingle Creek on April 28.
