Orange County Fashion Showcase October 2011: A Benefit to Support Casa Teresa.
- Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) August 09, 2011 - Established designers from South Africa to London and Orange County will showcase their designs to support Casa Teresa. Founded in 1976, Casa Teresa provides a transformational, comprehensive program for homeless, pregnant women 18 years of age and older who are alone.
Located in Orange, California, Casa Teresa is home to more than 75 mothers and their babies each year. Additionally, referrals or one-time counseling is provided to over four hundred women annually. Casa Teresa's vision is to empower pregnant homeless women 18 years of age and older to achieve life long self sufficiency for themselves and their children.
Festivities for Orange County Fashion Showcase will begin on Thursday, October 20, and will run through Saturday, October 22. The OC Fashion Showcase benefit will be held to support the efforts of Casa Teresa.
The event is being organized by the OC Fashion Trade Association (OCFTA) and produced by Deanna Hodges of Hodges Collection and Todd Herschberg of QuantiMark Services.
This is a great opportunity to come out to support an organization committed to fashion in Orange County, philanthropy, education and the health and well-being of moms and their babies.
The opening night reception will take place at the Huntington Harbor Yacht Club in beautiful Huntington Beach on Thursday, October 20, 2011, complete with fashion shows, food, music and cocktails.
