For every handbag that is sold, one is donated to a horse rescue operation to be auctioned or sold at fundraising events.
As a result, PonyUP! Kentucky's focus on horse rescue is ideal for this contest.
The PonyUP! Kentucky team is looking for the best horse rescue stories. Horse rescue is wide-ranging: saving healthy horses from slaughter and finding them good homes or establishing a horse rescue operation. Rescuing injured or ailing animals from auctions or abusive situations. And, of course, providing dignified retirements for horses that have lived a life of service.
The contest is open to those who have helped a horse in need in any way, or know someone who has done so.
