One Thousand Ocean Hosts 'Hot Property' Book Signing in New York
Boca Raton-based real estate developer hosts celebrity book signing in Manhattan.
- West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL (1888PressRelease) October 11, 2011 - Hosted by One Thousand Ocean, a recent celebrity book signing in the penthouse suite at The London NYC represented another chapter in the ultra-luxurious Boca Raton condominium's efforts to generate interest from the Northeast U.S. market.
The evening attracted top New York real estate brokers/agents, members and guests of The Players Roundtable (TPR), and the media, and focused on Michele, Samantha and Sabrina Kleier signing copies of their newly released "Hot Property" novel. The book is loosely based on their experiences brokering the sale of countless luxury properties for many of New York's richest, most powerful and celebrated residents. In addition to the Kleiers' new role as novelists, they are among stars of HGTV's highly rated "Selling New York" reality series, in which One Thousand Ocean has been showcased twice.
"The Kleiers first visited One Thousand Ocean in 2009 when it was under construction, which resulted in a feature on a "Selling New York" episode in May 2010," Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels, pointed out. An LXR affiliate developed the trophy building, which is surrounded by water on three sides at the Boca Raton Inlet. It is located adjacent to the Boca Raton Resort & Club's Beach Club, providing an all-encompassing oceanfront resort lifestyle for those who elect private membership privileges.
"During one of the Kleiers' subsequent visits to Boca Raton where they frequently vacation, we encouraged them to return to One Thousand Ocean to see it completed. They were so impressed they arranged for "Selling New York" to film a second episode here, which recently aired. We are very pleased with widespread exposure the building has received among prospective purchasers who were unaware of the opportunities for luxury oceanfront living our building presents."
Currently 77% sold, One Thousand Ocean has 12 one-story Residences and Penthouses, in addition to two-story Beach Villas available. Most are one-of-a-kind floor plans and ready for immediate occupancy. Prices are from approximately $3 million to $15 million.
Telchin has cultivated a strategic alliance with the Kleiers, whose Gumley Haft Kleier Realty is one of the leading boutique firms in Manhattan. "They have referred prospects to us and, in fact, one couple loved One Thousand Ocean so much that it led to a quick sale. In addition, Michele, Samantha and Sabrina have introduced us to other top-producing New York brokers, which we believe will be beneficial since many of our residents originate from the Northeast."
Along with Gumley Haft Kleier, representatives from brokerage offices Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Fox Residential Group, Brown Harris Stevens Residential Sales, Corcoran Group Real Estate, Trump Sales & Leasing, and others attended the event.
Continuing, he added, "This book signing for the Kleiers was a way for us to show our appreciation to them for their efforts."
"New Yorkers love Boca Raton. With an easy commute, that city has become the southern Manhattan," said Michele Kleier. "Furthermore, One Thousand Ocean is the pinnacle of that location. So it we are pleased Jamie selected our firm to help reach out to the New York market."
The Players Roundtable's Chief Executive Officer Darrel Branch said that TPR's association with One Thousand Ocean doesn't disappoint, and the book signing event was no exception. Earlier this year, he held an event in the modern, oceanfront condominium's largest penthouse for his distinctive group of high-net-worth influencers within the sports and business communities. TPR provides a forum for top-tier professional business executives and athletes to enter into new business ventures as well as enhance their personal development. "Bringing together luxury real estate pros with professional athletes led to a successful networking event and great party! We enjoyed the synergy," Branch said.
