One Thousand Ocean Hosts Concours d'Elegance Judges Welcome Brunch
Luxury condo hosts judges brunch for the sixth annual Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance.

The brunch was a prelude to the line up of events that followed: a DuPont Registry hanger party at the Boca Airport, a gala, live auction and performance by comedian Dana Carvey at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, and an elaborate Car and Motorcycle Show on the resort's golf course to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
This was the second consecutive year that One Thousand Ocean supported the non-profit organization that currently helps 12,000 at-risk young people. Last year, the developer of the building hosted a luncheon.
At the Judges Brunch, Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance founder Rick Case thanked and introduced Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels. An LXR affiliate created the Ocean-to-Intracoastal condominium. LXR also owns and operates the award-winning Boca Raton Resort & Club and its Beach Club, as well as other upscale resort properties in the U.S. and Caribbean.
Case also welcomed and acknowledged the expert panel of judges from around the country who would be rating some of the finest automobile and motorcycles ever built. He also said that the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance is the only auto show for charity in U.S. Last year, the event raised well over $3 million.
Among other esteemed guests at the brunch were Chief Judge Dr. Paul Sable and Grand Marshal Ed Gilbertson.
