One of Oprah's Final Guests, Former 550 lb woman, Returns to Weight Loss Camp
Stacey Halprin, drama instructor at Camp Shining Stars, a non-profit weight loss camp for teens, will be a guest on one of the final Oprah Winfrey shows. Filming at the end of April, this will be Halprin's eleventh visit on Oprah.

Author and actress, Halprin donated her summer last year to Camp Shining Stars where she taught drama, charm, poise and water aerobics. Her television visit is for a special episode featuring 100 people who have lost over 100 pounds. Having lost over 300 pounds herself, Halprin will be Oprah's guest. Camp Shining Stars' director, Ira Green, who has lost over 200 pounds, will be one of the audience members. The show is set to air before May 20, 2011. Halprin will also be featured in an upcoming issue of O Magazine as one of Oprah's favorite guests of all-time.
Not a Traditional "Fat Camp"
Halprin is returning to summer camp this year to donate her time once again. "I've never seen anything like the love and support flowing at Camp Shining Stars," Halprin said. Her goal is to inspire young adults to have a healthy adult life with long- term weight control.
Camp Shining Stars is hosted annually on the Barton College Campus in Wilson, NC, offering teen campers the luxury of residing with 2 campers per air-conditioned dorm room.
