The data being worked upon as the part of this project was collected through the exploratory surveys done on these terrains. For the third time in a row, SBL and its associate partner in Canada have won the forest inventory mapping for District 17 tender against stiff competition. SBL's proven track record of delivering projects with impeccable quality and timeliness tilted the scales in its favour. Earlier, SBL had successfully executed projects, District 16 North and District 18 South, for the Newfoundland and Labrador forest ecosystem management division.

SBL has bagged the Alberta Photo Index mapping project for the Second time consecutively. This was achieved against tight competition from local and foreign companies.
