One-Hour Radio Special Celebrates the Life of Clarence "The Big Man" Clemons
On the first anniversary of his passing, Coool CAT syndicated radio show talks with his friends and family and plays music from Clarence and his fellow musicians.
- (1888PressRelease) June 22, 2012 - Coool Classic Artists Today (Coool CAT), syndicated radio show, will air an hour-long special on Clarence Clemons from June 25 - July 1, 2012. The "Celebration Of Life" program features interviews with Vini Lopez (E Street Band), Southside Johnny, John Cafferty, Bobby Banderia (Bon Jovi), and Michael Antunes (John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band.) In addition, we'll talk with Clarence's son, Nick Clemons and his nephew, Jake Clemons - who's currently on tour with Bruce Springsteen.
Music highlights during the special will include several songs from "The Tribute To Clarence Clemons Celebration Of Life Concert" CD, that was recorded in Clarence's hometown of Norfolk/Chesapeake, VA on January 6 & 7, 2012. Also, songs from Clarence's Temple Of Soul band, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, and The Nick Clemons Band will be played. A rare interview with Clarence from June, 2007 and "One To Remember" biography is also a part of the program.
