On the auspicious occasion of Navratri Manav Aastha Foundation announced 'Vaishno Devi' yatra
Manav Aastha Foundation which is a Mumbai based NGO announced a yatra to one of the most revered temples that's nestled in the Himalayan foothills, Mata Vaishno Devi.
- (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2011 - Mumbai: 51 senior citizens were selected through a lottery draw on October 3, 2011 and the names were announced with the blessings of Shri Manohar Samat, Shri Nitesh Rane Chairman of Swabhiman Sanghathana and Shri Suraj Samat trustee of Manav Aastha Foundation.
Manav Aastha Foundation arranges all expenses paid yatras to places of religious and spiritual significance for the elderly citizens. They, by lottery draw select a group of 51 yatri's and make all necessary arrangements and look after the yatri's comfort. Their first yatra was made to the 'Char Dhaam' which was a huge success and received an overwhelming response. The Char Dham Yatra i.e Badrinath, Rameshwaram, Jagannath Puri & Dwarka began on September 24, 2011 and completes on October 9, 2011.
Shri Suraj Samat of Manav Aastha says, "After receiving great response for out first Moksh Yatra, Manav Aastha is all set to create a blissful experience for all the yatris through our second yatra which is to Vaishno Devi. We have already received stupendous response on the entries. Through a lottery draw we have announced 51 names who will start their yatra on October 15, 2011. This is our second yatra with Kesari tours and they have customized the air package for our yatris. We will make all arrangements and have medical support for our yatris and will make sure that the journey is comfortable and memorable."
Shri Nitesh Rane says "Shri Nitesh Rane says "I have been associated with Manav Aastha Foundation since the time they announced 'Moksh Yatra'. It gives me immense happiness to be associated with a cause so noble like this where the foundation manages to fulfill the desire of elderly citizens. My NGO Swabhiman Sanghatana managed the ground work and helped the foundation with the entire verification procedure for the 'Char Dhaam' and 'Vaishno Devi Yatra'. The entire ground work and verification of the applicants was undertaken by Shri Nitesh Rane's NGO Swabhiman Sanghatana. The foundation has tied up with Kesari tours for the entire air travel and stay package which includes local transport, 1 Stroller bag and Pooja thalis.
The foundation received approximately 1000 candidates only from Mumbai for Vaishno Devi yatra out of which 51 yatris were selected for the Yatra. The Yatra is sceduled for October 15, 2011 and will complete on October 18, 2011
