On occasion of Maharashtra day, JARO Education commences its CSR initiative by announcing Free Coaching for unemployed youth
As a part of theirCSR as well as Maharashtra Day initiative, JARO Education has joined hands with the Employment Exchange of Maharashtra and started Route2Jobs Online free coaching program meant for all employment entrance exams.
- (1888PressRelease) May 02, 2011 - Jaro Education inaugurated Route2Jobs Online Free Coaching Program, meant for all employment entrance exams. As a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as well as Maharashtra day initiative, they have joined hands with the Employment Exchange of Maharashtra. The assistant Directors of Employment & Self Employment Government of Maharashtra for Mumbai Suburban and Thane jurisdiction Mr. N.O. Bhatgujar, and Mrs. C.A. Kubal respectively were the chief guests for the event. Renowned actors Aditi Govitrikar and Mrinal Kulkarni were also present for the event.
Around 1000 students will be trained per month for Route2Jobs Online Coaching from each centre of the Employment Exchange in the State of Maharashtra. They will be providing this Online Coaching Free of Charge with the sole intention to bridge the gap between employment and employability of qualified youth who have enrolled themselves with Employment Exchange.
Appreciating this initiative of Jaro Education, Mr. N.O. Bhatgujar said "We were waiting for such a service provider to impart right kind of skills to mammoth number of unemployed youth registered with 40 odd employment exchanges across Maharashtra. Given our resource constraints, Jaro will definitely help us in reducing our burden". He requested Jaro Education to share the success stories of the candidates who will get placed in various companies so that others can feel confident and motivated. He also assured that his department will work day in day out to make sure that the youth is trained and placed appropriately.
Highlighting the problem of unemployment across Maharashtra, Mrs. C.A. Kubal said that the candidates registered with them hail from lower socio economic class and vernacular medium. They are not computer friendly & lack communication skills, soft skills and vocational guidance. Hence the main problem is of employability of these candidates. Jaro can play an extremely vital role here". She further urged Jaro Education to introduce training programs in Marathi language.
Mr. Sanjay Salunkhe, Director Jaro Education commented, "According to the NASSCOM-McKinsey report, only 10% of general graduates are employable, hence as a responsible organization, Jaro Education has taken the onus of empowering the youth and making them self reliant. Route2jobs is a specialized course formulated for these young aspirants that will not only provide training to clear the job entrance exams but also impart basic computer literacy and soft skills; thus preparing them for this highly competitive world."
Approximately 2-3 crore of India's population undergoes various job related exams like Bank P.O / Clerical, Railways and other exams who are looking for better job opportunities. According to a recent report, state run- banks are planning to hire more than 200,000 employees including officers, clerks and sub-staff up to 2013.
