Mr Abdul Muttalib Mustafa Al Jaidi, Chief Executive Officer, Oman Insurance Company after serving the company for 36 years, retired from his services effective 21st September 2011.

He expanded our operations, and laid the foundation for the future growth," said Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, Chairman Oman Insurance Company.
Whilst wishing Mr. Abdul Muttalib for his future endeavors, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair assured that the transition will be smooth, with the company offering the same levels of commitment to its customers as well as business partners.
"The entire management team at OIC remains focused on delivering value to its customers and stakeholders, with a new strategic direction and operational excellence to steer the company going forward." Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair added.
In closing he said that "A new CEO will be appointed, in due course."
