Olympus Imaging India to conduct Free Photography Workshops at Mumbai Photo Fair, 2012

(1888PressRelease) January 05, 2012 - Olympus Imaging India has partnered with leading names in the world of professional photography to conduct workshops for amateurs, hobbyists and photography enthusiasts at the upcoming Mumbai Photofair from the 5th to the 8th of January. Mr. Parag Shinde, one of Mumbai's eminent wedding and corporate photographers, will host six sessions on Wedding Photography on the 5th and 7th of January, while Mr. Balan Madhavan, member of the Royal Photographic Society, England and ILCP Fellow, would be holding three sessions on Wild Life photography on 6th January. Mr. Nitin Satghare, fashion and still photographer, would be conducting an exclusive session on PEN Technology & Olympus Creative light system (Flash RC Mode) on the 8th of January. The first session each day will begin at 10:30 am, the second will begin at 1:30 pm while the third session will commence at 4:00 pm. Each of these sessions will be conducted using the revolutionary PEN (mirrorless interachangeable lens technology) cameras and is expected to last around 90 minutes.

The world leader in opto-digital technology will also be showcasing its entire range of new generation camera systems and technologies, other products and accessories, right from the PEN Trinity series to the Tough Series point-and-shoots. Also on display will be the beginner and consumer series of binoculars that have compass and range finder, being nitrogen purged, waterproof, dirtproof and fogproof. Olympus will also display the Data Voice Recorders (DVRs), which meet the requirements of the amateur to the professional.

As a Photofair special, Olympus will also be offering killer discounts on select models that will be inclusive of standard accessories, a 4 GB card (and a 4AA battery charger for SP-610). Along with, a Killer Combo gift of Rs.2499 will be bundled with the flagship PEN E-P3, E-PL3, E-PM1, and other models, and of Rs.1499 with the VG series. Olympus will also offer free collection of cameras for servicing at the stall where customers can avail of free lens (front and back elements only) and LiveMOS sensor cleaning, a free inspection and firmware upgrade of Non-Warranty cameras, along with tips on optimal camera handling.
