Oktoberfest Festivities At Pierrot Gourmet Include Music, Brats, Beer Steins And More
Pierrot Gourmet recognizes its European-style restaurant heritage with an Oktoberfest celebration, September 24 through October 30, 2011. The third annual Oktoberfest occasion for this bistro, located on the street level of The Peninsula Chicago, will include a traditional-themed menu, "oom- pah" music, festive décor and more.
- (1888PressRelease) September 03, 2011 - In keeping with traditional Oktoberfest activities, the following will be featured during the celebration: an extensive German beer menu, including German beer flights and draft selections served in customary beer steins; a special German-inspired menu served for lunch and dinner, including such items as Oktoberfest Brats with Sweet Mustard and Pretzels, Wiener Sausage and Liver Dumplings on Sauerkraut with Potatoes, Hungarian Beef Stew with Sweet Peppers and Spätzle, Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce and more, all offered in addition to the regular European café menu. A lively German band will entertain guests each Saturday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Pierrot Gourmet is located on the street level of The Peninsula Chicago one of the most prestigious Chicago luxury hotels, at 108 East Superior Street, at the corner of Rush and Superior Streets. Signature items include tartines, flambées, a variety of rotisserie chicken items, home-made soups and salads, French pastries, numerous to-go selections, a wide array of wines by the glass and more. Outdoor seating is available as well as communal tables indoors.
