OK! TV and The Giving Carpet Kicked off the Award Weekend with a Philanthropic Celebration at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills
Hollywood's Celebrities Gathered at the Swanky Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills to Celebrate the Giving Side of Hollywood.

TV kicked off the award weekend with a star-studded night celebrating Emmy nominees and presenters along with Hollywood's most philanthropic talent on the "Giving Carpet" at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Celebrity DJ, Caroline D'Amore kept guests grooving, and Emmy-nominated, multifaceted performer and singer-songwriter, Mark Ballas, rounded out the night with a performance promoting his upcoming studio EP, "Kicking Clouds."
The celebration hosted all-star packed red carpet featuring, Gary Cole (Pineapple Express), Tom Green, Jenni Pulos & Jeff Lewis (Flipping Out), Hayley Hasselhoff, Mario Lavandeira (Perez Hilton), Kate Flannery (The Office), Gleb Savchenko (DWTS), Thomas Ian Scott (American Pie). While celebrities strut the red carpet, they proudly represented their personal charities and discussed how they give back. Face Forward Foundation, was the highlighted charity of the night which provides pro bono reconstructive surgery to victims of domestic abuse. After Caroline D'Amore rocked the house, Mark Ballas serenaded the crowd with an exclusive acoustic set. The Dancing with the Stars champion, performed some fan favorites as well as his hit single, X, followed by music off of his upcoming studio EP, "Kicking Clouds."
The Esterel restaurant at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills provided food for the evening. Guests were also treated to delicious drinks by Hint Water, Heineken, Freixenet Cava and Jose Cuervo, and snacked on a variety of delectable Sprinkles Cupcakes and Popchips. Upon leaving the event, attendees were given exclusive thank-you gifts compliments of Beauty Kitchen, and Make It Splat. The night was captured by OK!TV and will air on the nationally syndicated entertainment show on Tuesday, August 26th. OK!TV will also promote their pre-party coverage tonight at midnight on KCAL in Los Angeles and 11:30pm on WLNY in New York.

About Mark Ballas
Mark is an Emmy-nominated choreographer, actor and musician. As part of the professional cast of "Dancing with the Stars" for the past 14 seasons, Mark has proven to not only be a fan favorite, but is also no stranger to the coveted Mirrorball trophy. He is a two-time champion and a seven-time finalist - winning season 6 with Kristi Yamaguchi and season 8 with Shawn Johnson.
