On 2/3/11, the State of Ohio re-adopted an amended version of existing Rule 3901-6-13, "Suitability in Annuity Transactions." This seven (7) credit hour course meets the Ohio Department of Insurance's new four (4) hour annuity training requirement.
Professionals licensed to sell, solicit or negotiate annuities prior to 7/1/11 must complete a one-time 4 hour annuity training course by 1/1/12 in order to continue to sell annuities. Individuals who obtain a life insurance license on or after 7/1/11 must complete this training before selling, soliciting or negotiating annuity products.
Suitability in Annuity Transactions is available online now and can be purchased for $24.95 individually or added to a bundle (package) of Ohio insurance CE courses for just $49.95.
