Officially Licensed Builders Introduced into the UK
For the first time in the UK, United Kingdom Federation of Builders is to become the first company to introduce fully accredited licensed builders & trades into the Construction Industry.
- (1888PressRelease) July 02, 2014 - United Kingdom Federation of Builders (UKFB) is to become the first company in the UK to introduce fully accredited licensed builders & trades into the Construction Industry. This free service is now available to all property owners, construction operators and professional organisations throughout the United Kingdom.
Following years of debate and discussion on this subject, little or no positive action has been implemented to combat the activities of cowboy builders and rogue traders. UKFB has taken this ground-breaking motion to raising standards in an effort to protect our law abiding builders & trades and the general public from this ongoing menace.
The UK has more than adequate rules and mandatory regulations that govern the way service providers operate in the domestic sector. Utilising these regulations to the full extent, UKFB has forced itself into a position where we can legally offer fully licensed trades to operate in our industry. All UKFB licensed registered builders or trades displaying our logo or using our name are qualified, accredited building operatives and as such will receive the full backing of UKFB; we guarantee and sanction the credibility of all our builders & trades. Trades will be required to comply with a clearly set out terms of service and code of practice to ensure quality and value for money to the consumer.

Licensed members of UKFB have signed agreements and terms and conditions that clearly state they will only work within the confines of the rules and regulations that are set down as mandatory laws within the UK.
Builders & trades are also advised of a full legal disciplinary procedure that can be implemented should they be in breach of their licensing agreements.
