These online classes are free and are accessible online from anywhere in the world. All competency levels, from novice to expert, are invited to take advantage of these courses. Each class has a pre and post-test, lessons, quizzes, and assignments. The assignments are submitted to an online instructor, who grades and returns students' assignments with feedback. Classes can be completed in as little as three days or students can work at a more leisurely pace, finishing in about four weeks.
All of GCFLearnFree.org's online classes are accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). IACET accredits education providers that meet strict continuing education guidelines and provide quality education programs. Each of GCFLearnFree.org's classes awards at least 1 CEU (Continuing Education Unit) upon successful completion of the assignments and survey. Hundreds of classroom teachers have used these CEU's for teacher licensure renewal in a variety of subjects.
Since 2002, over 40,000 learners from around the world have earned over 45,000 Continuing Education Unit's absolutely free.
