ODPN Collaborates with Vancouver Talent on a PSA for Rick Rypien's Favourite Cause
On Demand Production Network (ODPN), Grey Vancouver and Twin Engine Films have collaborated on a new PSA to help promote Rick Rypien's favourite cause.
- (1888PressRelease) February 25, 2012 - VANCOUVER, BC - Created to highlight Mindcheck.ca, a project of the Vancouver Canucks and BC Mental Health, the spot features Canuck defenseman Kevin Bieksa speaking about his late friend and teammate's legacy.
Director Kyle Davison and producer Shawn Angelski also helped BC Mental Health and the Canucks produce the Mindcheck.ca PSA to highlight the campaign and website, with ODPN providing post production for the video.
Mindcheck.ca is a website developed to raise awareness and help people suffering from depression get the help they need, an initiative Rick Rypien wanted to spearhead while he was alive. The website offers information and resources for young people who may be experiencing mental distress and don't know where to turn.
