The Hyatt in Monterey announces October Jazz events every Friday and Saturday night all month long.

All jazz events at the Fireplace Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa are complimentary. Jazz times are 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Stop by and enjoy live jazz, a glass of award winning Monterey County wine and great appetizers and wood fired pizzas.

· Friday, October 4th - Eddie Mendenhall - jazz festival clinician, organist, piano player, has toured and entertained in japan, his recent recording is climbing the jazz charts!
· Saturday, October 5th - LA studio great Gary Meek - from Dionne Warwick, Al Jerreau, Airto and many others; this versatile musician makes our Fireplace Lounge swing!
· Friday, October 11th- Mike Lent guitar great - from Barry Manilow to Broadway to Las Vegas and national network TV - not to be missed by any jazz guitar fan
· Saturday, October 12th -- Mike Lent/Gary Meek/David Morwood Band - from pop to jazz and funk and everything in between!
· Friday, October 18thBob Basa - sultry guitar, from swing to jazz and Brazilian Bob takes you to another place with Mark Hammersley bass, David Morwood drums.
· Saturday, October 19th -- Steve Ezzo - you have heard his back up playing with some of the biggest selling names in music - one of the hardest working entertainers on the central California coast!
· Friday, October 25th -- David Morwood jazz band - our jazz director and drummer-in-residence features some of our favorite musicians/guest artists in the Fireplace Lounge for dining, dancing, or enjoying your favorite beverage or dinner specials
· Saturday, October 16th- Diva Night - the Hyatt Regency diva night showcases some of the central coast's hottest (and newest!) female vocalists up close - come and cheer for your favorite diva!
