Solar installations are increasing in New Jersey and across the nation. Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula, Chair of the Assembly Telecommunications and Utilities Committee, will discuss energy initiatives from a public policy perspective. The three expert panels will cover: evaluating your specific needs and potential; choosing the right system; structuring a deal; realistic expectations for return on your investment; tax implications; finding and applying for State and utility-sponsored programs; net metering and SRECS; compliance and regulatory issues; investments and funding options; roof and structural concerns; selling back to the grid; and insurance and warranties.
