Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers Launch New Website
Australian company helps travellers travel overseas for unique animal care volunteering experiences.
- (1888PressRelease) October 09, 2014 - Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers (O2EV), a non for profit organisation founded by Australian sisters Cassie Smith & Tracy Leske.
Cassie & Tracy set up the company to assist wildlife carers with the rescue, rehabilitation, release and permanent care of wildlife that had become injured or displaced.
Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers is the only Australian organisation dedicated to animal care projects. Oceans 2 Earth volunteers have over 20 projects in 6 countries (Australia, Thailand, Malawi, Mexico, Kenya and Ecuador), but specialise in Australian projects.
The new website www.oceans2earth.org/volunteers showcases all of the projects available. There is loads of information on the project itself, pricing, duration. There's a Q & A's section and gallery pages dedicated to photos and videos of the project so you can get a thorough insight into the project, the types of animals and what you'll be doing.
The website also has a tours section, a travel resources, section and a volunteer info section. There's lots of information for potential volunteers and a factsheet for parents who want more information.
The process to book a project is easy. You click the Apply Now button and complete your details, pay a deposit. All future payments towards your project can be made through the website.
There is a store where you can buy merchandise, virtual gifts, sponsor animals.
The company adheres to strict ethical standards concerning the treatment of animals and O2E only partners with organisations that have the same ideals when it comes to putting the animals first. See standards here.

Company was born from experiences that sisters Cassie Smith and Tracy Leske had with rescued elephants in Thailand and learnt firsthand about the plight of animals around the world. Since then they have visited and volunteered at numerous animal welfare organisations and seen how effective volunteer programs can help organisations.
If you're a lover of animals and would like to volunteer, you can't look past Oceans 2 Earth Volunteers.
Looking to travel to Australia? Why not book a few weeks on a project and meet likeminded people who share your love of animals.
