Occupy For A Cause, Take A Stance, Do Your Part, Potentially Save A Life
Asking For Your Support For A Stance Against Bigitry, And A Fight For Human Rights.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 26, 2011 - Turning the tables on the "Occupy Wall Street" movement, a group within the LGBTQ community is asking people of all ages, races, and creeds to take a stance for a real cause. Moka's Corner (www.blogtalkradio.com/mokascorner) and OurSistaCircle would like for you to participate in the promotion of "The International Day of Solidarity" http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=290291110981360 , to help show support to the LGBTQ community. They will be planning a mass protest by wearing the color blue, which represents clarity, purity, innocence-universal, and love.
Joining in and lending their support will be "transgender tabloid queen" Toni Newman, Kayo Anderson Media, Runway Magazine, and OurSistaCircle. Also joining the cause are various LGBTQ press and media publications.
The dates set for participation and support are Nov 16th and 17th, 2011. November 16th is the International Day of Tolerance, this day represents humanity to all. Novem- ber 17th is National Transgender Day of Remembrance. It is reported that a member of the transgender community is tortured, violated, and/or murdered everyday. It is only fitting that we come together and show support to all our brothers and sisters world- wide on these special days.
"The International Day of Solidarity" is aiming to bring awareness to the problem of persecution and acceptance that members of the LGBTQ face, and struggle with on a daily basis. Remember it's not just their rights its our rights to!
Moka King of "Mokas Corner" is a radio talk show host here in the United States. She keeps her listeners and fans aware of what is going on in the world within the LGBTQ community. Moka has raised both awareness and vitally needed funding for multiple socially philanthropic causes, and now she is taking things to the next level by staging a two day protest for "The International Day of Solidarity."
