The Connected Health Innovation Challenge (CHIC), now in its second year, looks for groundbreaking, technology-based solutions that present innovative new ways to treat and manage chronic disease and enhance patients’ lives.
As the software development sponsor, OFS will provide 100 hours of free software development support to challenge winners to take their solution from a concept to a real application ready to go to market.

CHIC accepts applications from teams with at least one member from within the Partners HealthCare network of employees and clinicians.The four teams selected as semi-finalists will participate in a two-day Design Workshopon September 15-16, where an OFS tech expert will be on-hand to help teams create effective plans for designing applications based on their concepts for presentation to a panel of judges from Partners HealthCare.
The semi-finalist pitch competition, a “Shark Tank”-like event, will take place October 3-4 at 5:30 pm at Hatch Fenway, 401 Park Drive, in Boston. The winning team will design and present its final application at the 2017 Connected Health Conference in Boston on October 25-27.
