Rich Napoli will share what blockchain is, how it works, and how companies can get the most out of this highly publicized new technology.
- (1888PressRelease) October 11, 2017 - ALPHARETTA, GA. - As excitement for blockchain technologies flourishes, Rich Napoli, CEO of ObjectFrontier Inc. (OFS), will present “Blockchain: The Hype and the Hope” for the Greater Alpharetta Tech Network (GATN) Speaker Series on October 12 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 pm. Napoli will highlight how blockchain can establish a new level of security and trust, simplify redundant or cumbersome transaction processes, and spark opportunities for new business models and products.
“There is a lot of buzz about blockchain as the hottest new technology everyone needs to adopt, but there isn’t nearly as much knowledge about what exactly blockchain does and how to use it,” says Napoli. “Businesses need to understand what blockchain is so that they can begin to make plans to leverage it.”
Napoli will show several examples of how different industries are using blockchain today. OFS Technical Director, Ganeshram Ramamurthy, will show a blockchain prototype solution and offer insights on some technical considerations when implementing blockchain.
