Oakville Business Directoy went mobile this year and for the first time, those visiting on a mobile device will automatically be redirected to a mobile friendly version of the website.
The Oakville Business Facebook page also was redesigned this year along with the new Facebook layout.
Oakville Ontario celebrates the recent opening of a community centre along with the North Park sports facility. The New Oakville Hospital currently under construction is scheduled to be opened in 2015 and the current hospital on Trafalgar road will be decommissioned.
The Oakville population surged about 180,000 and the community was once again rated as one of the most desirable places to live and work in Canada. The Halton region was also named one of the safest places to live in Ontario, Canada.
The Oakville Business Directory hopes to continue to expand and help more local businesses increase their online awareness.
