As a Beauty and Fashion company we knowingly adopted the strategy of putting our faith and resources into public relations. The results speak for themselves. NWPR is a start up by Nikki Walker with abackground rooted in entertainment where beauty, health, and fitness are always “en vogue”. A beauty pageant contestant since high school, she learned at an early age that putting your best face forward is always a good idea.
After years of competing, she went on to study Mass Communications at The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College) where her love for public relations began to blossom. In an effort to give back to the community, Yolanda serves as the Public Relations coordinator for the Hal Jackson’s Talented Teen International of Hudson County and of New Jersey State Scholarship Programs. She maintains her connections to beauty, fashion, entertainment, and community as a staff member of Uniting Talented Youth, Inc, a New Jersey based organization that fosters the talent of youth through pageants, runway fashion shows, and educational workshops.
After serving as a principal at a boutique PR firm, and receiving formal PR training from publicity guru Angelo Ellerbee, her high profile client placements have kept her in the loop and in the know. She brings to PMPR an energy and skill that all born publicists possess and is looking forward to growing with the award winning firm.
