NutraScience Labs "Steps Up" to the 2015 Marcum Workplace Challenge
The 10th annual run-walk event was held at Jones Beach State Park and raised funds for four Long Island-based charitable organizations.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) August 06, 2015 - NutraScience Labs joined over 200 other Long Island-based corporations as participants in the 10th annual Marcum Workplace Challenge. The event was held on Tuesday, July 28th at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh, New York.
According to Mindy Davidson, Event Director for the Marcum Workplace Challenge, a record-breaking 9,369 participants from 215 companies walked or ran the 3.5 mile course.
What is the Marcum Workplace Challenge?
The Marcum Workplace Challenge is Long Island's largest corporate run-walk for charity. Since 2006, the event has raised over $500,000 for Long Island charities. The funds raised from this year's event will be donated to the Long Island Children's Museum, Long Island Cares - The Harry Chapin Food Bank, Children's Medical Fund of New York, and the Nassau County SPCA.
