  • San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2010 - Nuera Network is excited to announce that they will take part in the celebration of San Francisco Pride's 40th Anniversary. The celebration will take place on Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27 in San Francisco's Civic Centre Plaza.

    Acknowledging the need for celebration in the wake of Prop 8, the membership selected Forty and Fabulous from a slate of 51 potential themes, each submitted by community members and members of Pride. San Francisco Pride has been said to be "one of the last remaining pride events that can truly be called a rite of passage." 2010 marks the 40th anniversary of the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade.

    Guests expected to be in attendance in the Parade and on the main stage include: the Backstreet Boys, Erasure's Andy Bell, Pulitzer Prize winner Alice Walker, and a video greeting from US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi!

    Nuera Network is excited to be in attendance for the 3rd consecutive year and feels privileged to share in the largest pride festival in North America for a milestone celebration.
