Novotel Toronto Centre Supports Heart and Stroke Foundation with Big Bike Ride Fundraiser.
- (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2011 - TORONTO, Ontario - Novotel, which offers a high standard of attentive service at seven hotels in Canada and nearly 400 around the world, continues to affirm its commitment towards its community. On Friday, May 27, Novotel Toronto Centre team members, who celebrated Earth Day with community activities last month, will demonstrate their support for the Heart and Stroke Foundation by taking part in the Big Bike Ride.
The Big Bike is one of the Heart and Stroke Foundation's major fundraising events. The team event encourages organizations, companies and groups to participate and raisemoney for the charity. Teams made up of 29 riders and one driver (provided by the Heart and Stroke Foundation) pedal through over 200 communities, across nine provinces in Canada, raising funds along the way. Last year, the organization raised over $7 million for research thanks to more than 40,000 riders who got involved in the event.

"This will be the second time for our team to participate in the Big Bike Ride, and we really love it! It's a really fun activity for the group, and we get to benefit a great cause together."
