This year's Singapore River Festival will be held earlier than last year's inaugural event, from the 19th to the 27th of June. Last year's event was held in September.

Highlights of the event include 'Campfire', a three-day dance event that Novotel Clarke Quay is one of the official “prize” sponsors. 'Campfire' runs from the 19th to the 21st of June, and includes outdoor dance performances, dance photography opportunities, fun workshops and a dance marathon. The hotel will be offering 5 special prizes to the winners of various events, ranging from accommodation in Superior and Executive Class Rooms”

Other Singapore River Festival activities for this year include:

• An attempt at a Guinness world record with a performance of mega illusions

The Mojito Fiesta will be held at Clarke Quay, adjacent to the Singapore hotel, and includes a salsa party, Cuban jazz displays and a discovery tour. Also to be held at Clarke Quay is the Read Bridge Spectacular, with displays of aerial acrobatics and water ballet. These performances will be part of the festival's opening on June 19 and be repeated nightly.
