The Singapore Art Show aims to:

The Singapore Art Show is a biennial event, following the lead of prestigious sister shows in Venice, Shanghai, Busan and Kwangju.

The related Singapore Arts Festival, held from May 15 to June 14 2009, smashed attendance expectations recently. Numbers increased by around 33% over last year (from 600,000 to 800,000. The Festival also achieved a 92.5% house attendance, the highest since 1986.
