NOVIDIS Carves Out Leading Position In Architectural Mouldings
NOVIDIS, a specialist in architectural mouldings and artworks, will be taking part in the French Design Forum, a trade event organised by the French Trade Commission UBIFRANCE in London, on 15 March 2011. The company produces ornamental mouldings and assists in the building, as well as the refurbishment, of exclusive projects worldwide.

NOVIDIS creations can be seen throughout the world in luxury hotels, in private residences, and on prestigious cruise liners. The company's clients include European shipyards and outfitting companies, large construction companies such as Bouygues and Vinci, and private property owners in Russia and the Middle East. NOVIDIS often collaborates with designers and art consultants in order to create bespoke products.
NOVIDIS was founded in 1998 by Eric Humbert and Marc Louzeau. The company first became known for its "floating stone" work. Much of its early activity was focused on the cruise industry as well as a small number of individual overseas projects. In 2006, NOVIDIS worked on the façade of Fouquet's Palace, the luxury hotel in Paris, and, today, NOVIDIS is working on a variety of projects involving Parisian buildings.
Although NOVIDIS is perhaps best-known for its classical references, many well-known designers, such as Sir Norman Foster and Philippe Stark, are beginning to ask for more contemporary applications of the moulding process. This can be seen in the project that NOVIDIS carried out for L'Oréal in Shanghai (China). NOVIDIS also recently collaborated with artist Michèle Létang on a large fresco for the Four Seasons hotel in London, which was designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon.
The head office of NOVIDIS is situated in Paris (France), while the factory for the European market is located in Portugal. NOVIDIS also has subsidiary offices in Germany (NOVIDIS Germany) and China (NOVIDIS China). NOVIDIS' factory for the Chinese market is situated in Shanghai province. NOVIDIS also has branches in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Geneva (Switzerland).
