- (1888PressRelease) April 02, 2016 - Just another Teenage Girl - In this fast paced life, how many of us take time to sit down with a cup of coffee, look at some of the old photographs, and take a stroll down our memory lane? Memories, regardless of whether they're good or bad, always have something for us in terms of happiness or experience. And this book is a compilation of nostalgic memories of a girl, who goes back in timeline and recollects her memories when she was a teen. Titled Just another Teenage Girl, the book is penned by Isha Nagappan and is published by Notion Press. It is available to readers all over the world.
The author shares that memories are quite bewildering. They sometimes bring a smile and sometimes sorrow. In this book, the 18-year-old feels that though the society labels her an adult, she has a lot of things to see and learn in her life. Meet Alisha, a college student, who goes back to a time through her memories when acnes were regarded as devastating calamities, the distinction between friends and family was nil, hashtags were weird, and attraction towards the opposite sex was wavier than a reading on a Richter scale.
The author of this book is a 16-year-old known by the name of Isha Nagappan. She resides in Chennai and is in 11th grade at the moment. She has always had this passion for writing as a kid and has been quite proud of all her article submissions for school projects. She was forced to watch a Ted Talk with her mother that, to her surprise, she enjoyed and that's when the imaginary light bulb lit up above her head. This Ted Talk was about a child prodigy, Adora Svitak, who started writing at the age of 4 and for some reason this triggered her and made her want to write more. What started off as a fictional world she could jump into to get away from reality, became her first book. She was 12 years old when she completed it and got it published when she was 13.
This book is also a teen fiction, like the first one, but the style of writing has evolved along with her through these past two years. Writing gives her pleasure as it is a stage to voice her opinions and thoughts and all she needs now is the guidance and help of the right people to reach the microphone.
