Notable New Jersey Therapist Interviewed on Regional Radio
Wendi L. Dumbroff, couples and sex therapist, shares advice on relationships and marriage.
- (1888PressRelease) September 26, 2017 - Madison, New Jersey - Wendi L. Dumbroff, Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, was recently interviewed by Jay Trelease, Host of WFME 1560 AM.
The discussion revolved around relationships in general and couples therapy in particular. When asked why there seems to be an increase in divorce as compared to years past, Dumbroff responded,
"The couples I see are trying really hard to make their relationships work. Couples get caught up in cycles... As a therapist, I don't listen to a couple to find out who is right and who is wrong. I listen closely to what couples say, to deconstruct the cycle between them. Everyone just wants to be loved and know that their partner has their back and is there for them."
