Lee White and Charley Joyce will lead workshops and host a booth at the Minnesota Social Service Association 118th Annual Training Conference and Expo, March 21-24 in Minneapolis.
- Eugene-Springfield, OR (1888PressRelease) March 15, 2011 - Northwest Media, Inc.™ President and CEO Lee White will attend the Minnesota Social Service Association's 118th Annual Training Conference & Expo, March 21-24 in Minneapolis. This marks Mr. White's first time at the MSSA Conference.
Charley Joyce, FosterParentCollege.com™ instructor and PATH Inc., ND supervisor, will also attend. White and Joyce will each present twice and will have a booth in the Exhibit Hall.
In his role as president and co-founder of FosterParentCollege.com™, White will lead a workshop on "Exploring Using Online In-Service Parent Training as a Budget Cutting Alternative," at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22. In his role as president and founder of VStreet.com®, he will present "Online Life Skills Curricula & Mentoring Tools" at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Joyce, LICSW, will talk about "Survival Behaviors in Foster-Adoptive Care: Hoarding Food & Wetting Behaviors," at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Then at 1:15 p.m. he will lead a three-hour institute on "The Impact of Providing Foster Care on Foster Parents and Their Children." Joyce is social work supervisor at PATH, Inc. of North Dakota; an author; and a faculty member at FosterParentCollege.com™.
Mr. White and Mr. Joyce will host a booth in the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday and invite conference attendees to stop by.
