- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) May 25, 2011 - The Italian Style Expo proudly announces the recent addition of Northside FIAT of Houston as a major sponsor of the Houston based show.
The Italian Style Expo showcases Italian excellence in business and culture via such exciting events as a Fashion Show and a Cooking Competition during the three-day event at the George R. Brown convention center. This year the show will proudly reintroduce the FIAT nameplate to Texas and the all-new FIAT 500 to the American market place as well.
Event organizers for the Italian Expo know style and design when they see it, so the addition of the flashy FIAT 500 just made sense.
The all-new product is just the beginning of FIAT's full-scale entry into the American market. Northside FIAT of Houston is the proud sponsor of the car showcase and in a tip of the hat to the Italian heritage of the brand they aren't only bringing in the all-new products, they're planning to highlight some vintage vehicles as well.

While different versions of the FIAT have been available in Europe since the brand was introduced in 1899, the last product sold in the US--before this year--was more than 25 years ago.
Alfred Flores and Bruce Glascock, co-owners of the dealership believe that the vehicles will make a complete comeback and have invested in an exclusive, FIAT studio that will showcase the Italian cars in the Woodlands, opening in June. Just like the cars, the studio will have stylish lines and an exciting Italian design.
