Local community members can enjoy an evening filled with live entertainment shows, LA Kings Ice Crew, pony rides, face painting, jumpers, and friendly neighborhood socializing to kick off the 2013 Northridge Farmers' Market season. The event will close with a raffle where participants can enter for the chance to win products from supporting vendors. The order of events will be as follows:
5:00 PM Granada Hills Highlander Marching Band
5:15 PM Dignitary Introductions
5:25 PM Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting
5:30 PM Family Stage Show
6:00 PM Raffle
In addition, attendees who sign up for the Northridge Fashion Center Club can receive a free reusable shopping bag (while supplies last).
The certified Farmers' Market is managed by Coastal Pacific and will feature in-season produce from local farmers, pre-packaged artisan foods, craft items, children's activities, informational booths, and live entertainment every Wednesday evening.
