Baltimore, MD (1888PressRelease) August 21, 2014 - Northfield Leads insurance app has just been released for direct download. Jim Lowitz, CEO for the company stated future plans include tying in a national database technology for commercial insurance agents and companies to check for duplicate and fraudulent leads. The mobile app is being distributed on major mobile app sites such as Google Play. Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce company is also said to be rolling out its own site for mobile apps in the future. Jim Lowitz stated they want to be a part of that expansion as well.

Currently the app is usable on android devices and available to the commercial insurance industry for download at no charge. The app features information for obtaining quality insurance leads along with push updates to your android device. "Right now we are allowing insurance agents and companies to download the app and test it in its infancy while we collect feedback, the next roll-out will include the database to check for duplicate leads. We are in the works of developing the app to be used on IOS," says Lowitz. The company CEO went on to state that IOS poses challenges because it will need a different database structure then android.

The company is planning a road show for the upcoming insurance seminars across the country where they plan to further promote the mobile application. Meanwhile, the app itself is getting a lot of chatter on social media sites Twitter and Facebook where it is beginning to be shared at a rapid rate. Jim Lowitz went on to say, "So far we like what we see and the feedback has been mostly positive, we expected this from the onset. When the app includes the database technology and becomes a little more complex and detailed we are concerned people may shy away and not take time for the learning curve."
