To celebrate the launch of their latest issue, Secret Service, Karin and Raoul held an exclusive launch party at Norwood, New York on Tuesday 28 July, 2011

Cortes and Hassan Kinley invited a unique blend of New Yorkers to an evening of cocktails, sounds by Stadj model deejays featuring DJ Kye at the exclusive and truly eclectic Norwood this past Tuesday evening in New York's Chelsea District.
Karin and Raoul has a fascination with all things secret, stylish, off the beaten path, and slightly naughty.
The Secret Service issue is no exception and represents the brand's cutting edge cultivation of the mysterious, sexy, adventurous and quality fashion, photography and video.
The new issue, "Secret Service", is about "high end quality photography, it is also about people who are passionate about their creative expression, Some people you may know, some you may be learning about for the first time. This issue is about revealing secrets, from emerging opera singer Radmila Lolly to french street photographer JR." said Hassan Kinley, Karin and Raoul's Editor-in-Chief.
New York's Swanky Norwood looked more like a set design for a Wes Anderson movie and was filled with a dilettantish mix of artists, entrepreneurs, art connoisseurs, collectors and signature New York socialites.
"We have an eclectic mix of people at the party who are all tied together by their interest in, stylish, provocative photography art and lifestyle. K+R's pusuit is to find artists who are doing common things in an uncommon way. Artists using their creative expression in innovative ways to bring a new perspective of art and lifestyle to the masses," said Kinley.
This innovative mix of individuals indulged in cocktails with a wide screen projection of images of unique and empowering art from the latest issue as a backdrop to a night of culture, class and sophistication, all filmed by Lyle Shanahan.
The magical night of decadence and delight certainly completed its mission of arousing the creative and erotic sensibility of all who attended.
Karin and Raoul has become an important reference point for bringing insight into the process of cultivating art into being, not only for the photographic world, but also as a high quality lifestyle brand.
