NJBA Presents Walters Homes, Rebuild with Seven Sam Awards
SAM Awards Honor Creative Excellence, Industry Achievement.
- Bergen-Passaic, NJ (1888PressRelease) April 22, 2014 - Walters Homes and its ReBUILD division were honored with seven Sales and Marketing (SAM) awards from the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA). The 27th Annual SAM Awards banquet was held at the Atlantic Builders Convention at the Resort Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
The ReBUILD division received the prestigious "Best Rebuild of a Single-Family Home" award for its reconstruction of the Moffitt house located on Long Beach Island. The 1,200-square-foot single-family home was rebuilt from demolition to completion, to create an energy-efficient, custom-crafted home on the owner's property. ReBUILD's successful sales and marketing efforts also garnered it a second award in the category of "Community of the Year for 25 homes or less."
"This award is a tribute to the dedication our entire team has put forth to make the new ReBUILD division a success," said Ed Walters, Jr., founder and partner of Walters Group. "The opening of two new ReBUILD sales offices this year is part of our growth strategy as we assist families undertaking the process of rebuilding a code-compliant, energy-efficient new home."
Matthew Gaudet-Walters was named "Rising Star of the Year" for his success in helping to start-up the new ReBUILD division. Also with ReBUILD, Victor Farano was honored as "Project Superintendent of the Year." The dynamic ReBUILD team of Michele Bowcock and Matthew Gaudet-Walters were presented with the "Sales Team of the Year" award. Pam Schuster earned the prestigious "Sales Manager of the Year" award.
The SAM awards are an opportunity for companies and individuals in the building industry to be recognized among their peers for excellence in sales and marketing. Walters Homes and ReBUILD's promotional efforts garnered them the "Best Color Newspaper Ad One-half Page and under" award. In the Million Dollar Club Option Sales category, the winner was Danielle Edreff. In the Million Dollar Club, $5 million to $10 million category, the winners were Laurie McManus, Michele Bowcock and Matthew Gaudet-Walters.
