(CIS), with 13 of its 20th Annual Garden State Awards for Excellence. Both CIS communities and individual employees were recognized for their achievements. Individual awards were given to Joseph Jackson for Maintenance Technician of the Year for his work at Heritage Village at Lawrence. Palmer Richardson was recognized as Rookie of the Year for his work at the Gardens at Birmingham.

Five CIS communities were honored in both the Property Management and Curb Appeal categories. Those are Heritage Village at Elizabeth, Heritage Village at Lambertville, Heritage Village at Seabreeze, Tanyard Oaks and The Oaks at Weatherby. In addition, Heritage Village at Lawrence was honored for Curb Appeal.
